How to download and install iOS 14.1 by air?
First, connect your smartphone to a power source so that it does not discharge during the update process. The update can take from several minutes to an hour, depending on the load on the Apple servers and the speed of your Internet. Of course, you need to download the update via Wi-Fi, and not mobile Internet.
Step 1: Open the Settings app and select General> Software Update. iPhone will automatically check for updates and show iOS 14.1.
Note: If you have jailbreak installed, the update should be installed via iTunes, as there may be problems updating via air.
Step 2: On the screen you will see the available iOS 14.1 update listing all its improvements. Click Download and Install.
If you get tired of waiting for the completion of the process, you can do something else on the smartphone. The update will continue to download in the background, and you will receive a notification when the update is ready. Then go back to Settings> General> Software Update and click Install.
How to download and install iOS 14.1 via iTunes?
If iOS 14.1 does not appear as an over-the-air update, you can install the update manually through iTunes. You should also use this method if your device does not have enough memory to update by air.
